GSA Newsletter

Thanks to everyone who came out in the (slightly) bitter cold to our GSA social this past Friday, February 3rd. From the look of things, I think we all had a great time. In case you were not able to attend but are still interested in the bone marrow donor registration drive, do let the GSA know. One of the leaders of Fordham’s bone marrow donor registration drive is on the GSA Council, and we will be happy to put you in contact with her.

During our social, we also passed out information regarding the status of refugees and asylum seekers who are already, in the US. This semester, several GSA council members will be organizing a refugee awareness event to take place just beforeĀ our last social of the year (Friday, May 12). So, mark your calendars for an afternoon of learning and reflection and an evening of cheer as we celebrate the close of another academic year.

Here at the GSA, Chris and I are processing your PDG reimbursements and getting ready for the next round of PDG applications. If anyone is interested in attending a PDG writing and tutoring session, let us know soon!
